Bike Tours

Bicycle tourists find ideal surroundings in the Weser Mountains Region. Easy paths go through the valleys, on the Weser-Radweg, for example, or the Emmer-Radweg toward Bad Pyrmont.

More challenging are the paths through the woods and over the winding roads to the Ottensteiner Plateau. Or perhaps a tour with a trolly car over the old railroad beds in the area would be adventurous?

Lovely and very well accepted is the Bicycle Path on the Weser. It crosses Hameln on its 450 km route from Hannoversch Münden to the North Sea and is toured by some 150.000 each year. According to the General German Bicycle Club (ADFC), the "Weser-Radweg" is the most traveled German cycle tour.
