Open-Air-Play Jubilee
Robin Hood and William Tell offered congratulations in 2005

Unique: The
Pied Piper Open-Air Play has been a quaint homage to the international cultural notoriety of Hameln since 1956. The play entered its 50th season under the direction of Friedrich Fluegge Sen. in 2005.

The jubilee, that coincided with the 30th anniversary of the German Fairy-Tale Road, has drawn the interest of the international figures of myth and legend, as well.
These
original performers from Germany, England and Switzerland congratulated the Piper with their own presentations, in person, directly after the open-air play.
