Opening hours: Monday – Wednesday:  10.00 - 20.00 hours and
Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 10.00 - 21.00 hours, Sunday: 11.00 - 20.00 hours

Late-Night-Shopping on November 28th of 2009
Right in time for the first weekend of the Christmas Market the Hamelin retailers are inviting customers to browse around until midnight. Once you have got the first Christmas presents in during a leisurely shopping trip around Hamelins old town until late, you can also enjoy time on the Christmas market. This offers an extravagant shopping event even before the first advent.

And once Chritsmas is over the shopping joy still goes on.
Just at the end of the Christmas Season the Hamelin retailers are the first to open again between 13.00 and 18.00 hours, ready for your custom with special offers.

Be charmed by the advent seasons sea of lights shining across Hamelins Christmas market!
In the middle of the beautiful old town with all its lovingly reconstructed half-timbered houses and unique buildings of the Weser Renaissance.  70 wooden stalls all decorated in Christmas style are inviting you to take a stroll around the Hochzeitshaus and the Marktkirche.

A special attraction is the Christmas Pyramid, measuring about 11m in hight.

advent rides on their riverboats cruising the Weser
 (by reservation only; Tel.: 0 51 51 / 93 99 99).

At the Hamelin Glassworks young and old can blow their very own colourful Christmas baubles assisted by the glass blower himself. Have your Christmas tree standing out with these individual decorations!

As every year our newly shaped train station Hamelin is welcoming its guests with christmas flair und offers some changing attractions.

Interesting complete programms covering an overnight hotel stay including breakfast, afternoon coffee, dinner, a special christmas guided tour incl. drink, and a presentation at the Glassworks (this includes blowing your own glass bauble) are being offered by  the Hamelin Marketing und Tourismus GmbH. Prices start at 98,-- EUR (incl. insurance).
